The repository collects a wide range of research outputs, including journal articles, books and book chapters, conference abstracts and posters, theses and dissertations. It is publicly accessible to a global audience.

The Toolkit offers online research guidance, from literature searching to survey tools and research data management (RDM). It also covers researcher tools such as altmetrics, social media and researcher profiles; complying with medical ethics, law and copyright; and publishing resources for open access, open data and avoiding predatory journals.
Monash Health Librarians have developed prebuilt search strategies to support research on midwifery topics. These searches are available for Ovid Medline, Ovid PsycINFO, and Ovid Embase/Emcare.
