Australian Guidelines

  • ACORN Standards
    • Monash Health has an organisation wide subscription to the electronic ACORN standards for perioperative nursing. If you need our 'Facility' username and password please contact the library (library@monashhealth.org or 9594 2600). 
    • Users wanting install ACORN standards on their desktop should contact the IT Helpdesk.

A range of saved searches are available for topics aligned with the NSQHS Standards from the ALIA HLA (Australian Library and Information Association, Health Libraries Australia) website. There are four options for each topic - last 5 years, broad, broad limited to Australia and broad limited to reviews.

Request a literature search by the Library

Monash Health employees may request a literature search on a specific topic from the library by completing this form.

  • Review your research question and build an appropriate search strategy.
  • Run the search on relevant databases.
  • Provide you with a list of search results, EndNote Library and/or Covidence workspace.
  • Refine the search strategy further, if needed.
  • Provide a curated summary of the best literature (service improvements, PROMPT procedures and business cases only).
