  • Australian Hand Therapy Association

  • Allied Health Professions Australia 
    • AHPA represents and avocates the role of allied health professionals in health, aged care, disability and education.  A collegiate body consisting of 20 national allied health associations members and five affiliate members.

    • Supports allied health, nursing and midwifery health professionals with professional development resources as well as employment and education opportunities.

International Associations

  • American Society of Hand Therapists 
    • ASHT is a membership organization of hand therapy professionals dedicated to advancing the field of hand and upper extremity therapy by promoting education, advocacy, research and clinical standards. ASHT members include occupational and physical therapists, physician extenders, surgeons, researchers and administrators. Membership includes access to online learning resources including educational how-to videos.
  • ICAHE
    • International Centre for Allied Health Evidence works both nationally and globally to create new knowledge and translate evidence into safe, quality health care.  Provides a wide range of tools, services and resources to support the translation of evidence into policy and practice.
