  • Australian Music Therapy Association 
    • AMTA is the peak professional body representing the interests of RMTs across Australia.  A membership organisation providing practice support, information relating to professional development, and access to relevant professional resources.
  • British Association for Music Therapy 
    • BAMT is the national voice for Music Therapists in the UK. The BAMT advocates for equal access to Music Therapy for all, promotes the health benefits of Music Therapy as well as organise and advertise related events, support for professional practice, training courses and CPD. Every 2 years, the BAMT hosts a national conference to showcase Music Therapy practice and research taking place throughout the UK.
  • Canadian Association of Music Therapists
    • CAMT is the national body promoting music therapy and supporting, advocating and certifying professional music therapists (MTAs) in Canada.
  • American Music Therapy Association 
    • AMTA is dedicated to the mission of advancing public awareness of the benefits of music therapy and increasing access to quality music therapy services in a rapidly changing world. Membership in the AMTA supports access, education, growth, awareness and visibility of the music therapy profession. 
  • World Federation of Music Therapists 
    • WFMT is the international body for the global development and promotion of music therapy. The members of the Federation are music therapy organizations, training programs, certified music therapists, music therapy students, and individuals associated with music therapy. Provides information related to education, resources, events such as the World Congress of Music Therapy, and classifieds relating to professional positions.

Allied Health Associations

  • Allied Health Professions Australia 
    • AHPA represents and avocates the role of allied health professionals in health, aged care, disability and education.  A collegiate body consisting of 20 national allied health associations members and five affiliate members.
  • HealthTimes 
    • Supports allied health, nursing and midwifery health professionals with professional development resources as well as employment and education opportunities.
