The ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Database contains scholarly literature, full-text journals, dissertations, instructional videos and grey literature (including conference proceedings and factsheets). It is an excellent starting point for research on Nursing and Allied Health topics, as well as complimentary and alternative medicine.

   

Set Up Account

  1. Go to ProQuest Nursing and Allied Health Premium
  2. Click My Research Button in top right corner (person shape icon)
  3. Create My Research Account

Searching

ProQuest includes books, journals, and multimedia. 

Videos from Medcom cover important topics such as health care safety, mental health, emergency planning, checking vital signs and more.

Includes leading nursing and related publications. 

Also has access to newspapers, case studies and dissertations & theses.


Results

Saving and exporting results has many options:

  • Citations for articles can exported into reference managers (refworks, EndNote, Citavi, Mendeley, NoodleTools, EasyBib and Microsoft Excel).
  • Dropdown box of different reference styles to cite article.
  • Email and printing of results
  • Downloading to PDF, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Word
