Evaluating Grey Literature
Grey literature has often not been peer-reviewed. Before including a piece of grey literature in our research, we need to evaluate it to determine if the information is high-quality, unbiased, and from a reliable source.
We recommend the AACODS Checklist (Authority, Accuracy, Coverage, Objectivity, Date, Significance) for evaluating grey literature. This checklist was created by Jess Tyndall at Flinders University.
Monash Health acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land, the Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung peoples, and we pay our respects to them, their culture and their Elders past, present and future.
We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment that embraces all backgrounds, cultures, sexualities, genders and abilities.
