The Literature Searching guide shows you how to complete an effective literature search from beginning to end. Use the tabs at the top of the page to navigate through the guide.
Remember: the Library team provides a range of research support services to Monash Health employees and students. Attend a live webinar, book a research consultation, or request a literature search and get in touch with the Library team if you have any questions.
The use of a reference management software is beneficial during the literature searching process. The potentially large number of papers found during a search can be difficult to manage, and you want to avoid losing or misplacing relevant articles.
There are various reference management software options such as EndNote, Zotero, RefWorks or Mendeley. Visit the library referencing guide for more information on each of these software.
EndNote
Monash Health Library has EndNote installed on all library shared PCs. Here are some features in EndNote to help store, organise and manage literature search results:
Visit our EndNote Guide for more information these features and how to obtain an EndNote license. Register for an upcoming EndNote training session with live demo and Q&A.
