We wish you a safe and relaxing holiday season! We are here to support your information needs during the festive period.

  • Request services are running as per usual – you can still request articles and literature searches.
  • Our library spaces remain open 24/7 – if you need a break, a meeting room, or somewhere to hot desk.
  • Access eBooks and journals via our website – anytime, anywhere. When prompted, log in with your regular Monash Health username and password.
  • Borrow hard copy books 24/7 by signing up for print borrowing and then scanning the QR code at the Library front desk.

Summer Reading

To align with other wellbeing initiatives at Monash Health, our popular Mind & Matter collection has had a fresh injection of books for wellbeing – below is a sample of your summer reading options. See a full list of our new books here.

Library Favourites

Looking for something a bit different? Below are just a few examples of AccessMedicine content that you might not know you have access to – try them out over summer.

  • Procedural Videos – tutorial videos for various specialties, some as short as approx. 30 seconds.
  • 2 Minute Medicine – concise daily literature reports of breaking medical literature and seminal studies.

Nursing Times – providing news, analysis, best practice, and opinion – is now available to all Monash Health employees. Activate your free access by signing up here. For more high-quality nursing information, visit our Nursing Resource Guide.
